Activities at Djurviks Gästgård

In the area there is a large lawn, which is well suited for playing. Beach volleyball and sauna. Swings for the children. Rowing boats are available to borrow. Two kayaks are available for rent.

Mediyoga

Do you want to try something new? Or do you want to relax and recharge your batteries during your holiday? We offer our guests MediYoga led by a trained instructor. The session is about 1½ hours and ends with a meditation. You do not need to have practiced yoga before. Sleeping mats are available.

Bird-watching

Teaching and excursion. Our bird expert Ann-Kristin takes you on an exciting excursion in the forests and along the beaches of Djurvik. Here you will hear about the rich bird life on Åland, about rare and commonly occurring species. The session begins with a little theory and then she takes you outside. Binoculars and a bird book can be brought, we have some to borrow. Ann-Kristin is a trained teacher so the excursion is suitable for school classes. Excursion incl. theory takes 3 hours and is booked in advance. Price: €115/group.

Among flowers and lichens

Are you interested in learning more about plants on Åland? Our knowledgeable guide Ann-Kristin takes you on an interesting tour among flowers, trees and mosses. The tour can be booked perfectly for school classes and other children and youth groups. The tour takes 3 hours and must be booked in advance. Price: €115/group.

Fishing

Are you interested in fishing? Take a tour with our knowledgeable guide, who will show you where the old pike lurks. Price: €150/person for half day incl. Coffee and bun; €180/person for the whole day incl. lunch. Fishing license and equipment are included in the price. Get in touch, and we'll tell you more.

Paddling

Outside Djurvik there is good water for paddling. Among cobs and cuttings for the beginner and out on the open sea for the more experienced. Mingle meals

For those interested in cooking, we arrange cooking courses with a special theme. Sushi, Åland, Italian? Let the imagination flow. Harriet, who is in charge of the course, is a trained home economics teacher and now works with new nordic food alongside her own company.
